Escapepod is a free, open source, and lightweight Android app for listening to podcasts. It has a simple interface with two screens: one for a list of podcasts and another for a list of episodes for a single podcast. Escapepod doesn't have a podcast discovery feature, but it does have a search option. It also opens RSS podcast links when tapped in a web browser.
